Pepperpot Percussion Revolver features in Militaria Auction at McTear's The Works of Art, Militaria & Furniture Auction, held August 12th, offers a host of unusual and interesting examples of militaria. From medals to weapons, lots of note include 1203, a 19th century six shot pepperbox percussion revolver, estimated £300-500, and a German K98 mauser rifle, estimated £200-300. This auction also features a range of swords, including lot 1219, an early 19th century French cuirassier’s sword with an estimate of £600-900. A very interesting archive of ephemera, medals and other items (lot 1196) relates to M. McTurk and Alick McTurk, spanning WWI and WWII, and this lot is estimated between £300-500. The auction also offers a lot of Belgian war medals (lot 1233), to include the Croix de Guerre and others, estimated between £150-200.
