Antique furniture of good quality with an unusual aspect continues to buck the trend and a 19th century Davenport in olivewood from Jerusalem proved just that with bidders from Israel and the UK battling to £650.
An unusual Mauchline table snuff box bearing twin finely executed pen-work hunting scenes certainly appealed to collectors, eventually selling for £750.
Good quality porcelain of the 19th and 20th centuries provoked strong bidding with an excellent private collection of fruit painted Royal Worcester making over £11,000 collectively before a fine KPM plaque went for £1,400.
