Silver & Luxury Accessories were snapped up by competitive bidders in this dedicated auction.
A rare and collectable Swiss ‘Thorens’ lighter defied all expectations when it was knocked down for £750, now making its way to the south of England. Another to satisfy the vices was an unusual Indian white metal ‘Johnnie Walker Black Label’ decanter. Of good size and gauge, this piece was purchased locally for £600.
From the sinful to the saintly, a Victorian and later silver communion set was our best-selling lot. Presented in a substantial fitted oak case, this will now be making its way to London for the godly sum of £2,400.
Entries are invited for our next Silver and Luxury Accessories auction on 24th November. For a complimentary, no-obligation valuation, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries, or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
