A sword with a remarkable and important history leads this militaria auction, along with medals relating to the recipient of said sword. Further rare and interesting medals include the Victoria Military General Service, WWII Arctic Star, a WWII and Colonial Police Force medal group and a Q.C.D. medal for gallantry. Weaponry included bladed and firearms will go under the hammer alongside military relics including helmets, a trench saw, uniform, death plaques and archives as well as aviation maps and Benin and African objects.
