Worcester was back with a bang in today’s auction…
An impressive vase by Harry Davis was knocked down for a healthy £3,200, whilst a damaged James Stinton example fetched a cracking £850.
18th century table glass was also fiercely contested, with a rare nipt-diamond waies piece fetching £1,100, alongside a treasonous Jacobite example, which saw international bidding before being bought in the room for £750.
The next British & Continental Ceramics & Glass Auction will take place on Febuary 2022 and entries are now invited. To consign to this auction, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
