Violins were stars of the auction today, with two instruments fetching over £6000 combined. A Gibson guitar, too, attracted much interest, selling over £1200. Clocks, naturally, were strong sellers in this sale, with a striking Edward & Son longcase achieving £2200 hammer.
The next Clocks, Scientific & Musical Instruments Auction will take place on 4 November and entries are now invited. To consign to this auction, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
