Friday the 13th didn’t prove to be an unlucky day for buyers attending the Jewellery Auction. Diamonds and coloured gemstones proved as popular as ever with the star lot, a pair of impressive diamond stud earrings, lot 885, achieving a hammer price of £10000. This was followed by a diamond tennis bracelet, lot 933, attracting fierce bidding in the room and online before the hammer came down at £5400. A Cartier trinity ring at lot 949, also achieved an impressive £3200.
The next auction dedicated to jewellery takes place on 5 September. To consign to this auction, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
