Results page from the Rare & Fine Whisky Auction.
The Rare & Fine Auction saw some strong bidding from collectors in the UK, as well as further afield in continental Europe, Thailand, Hong Kong and the United States amongst others.
Springbank stole the headlines with two different 1964 vintage bottlings each selling for £3,000, closely followed by the ever-popular Macallan Private Eye achieving £2,800.
But Macallan’s place as a collector’s favourite is not in any threat with Anniverary Malts, Gran Reserva 18 years old, and 10 year olds still performing well.
The next Whisky auction will take on place on 18 June, entries are now invited.
