The August 14 Rare and Fine Whisky Auction features a plethora of wonderful spirits for your perusal.
Heading the field is lot 25, which is the Macallan 1965 Tudor decanter aged 25 years. This fastastic spirit is presented in a hand blown decanter and stopper is expected to sell for £3,500-£4,000. Other unusual and intreguing Macallan's include lot 15 and lot 44 which are both examples of Macallan's short lived forray into the world of liqueurs. These bottles of Macallan Amber are estiamted to sell for £200-£300 each.
Out of the Macallan circles there are also 7 bottlings of the 1990's 'The Stillman's Dram' range from Whyte & Mackay, consisting of whiskies in their late 20's from Tamnavulin, Fettercairn, and the Isle of Jura.
