This month we have a fabulous selection of star pieces from Scotland's most eminent contemporary artists. A stunning still life by Elizabeth Blackadder is a firm favourite, whilst the beautiful seascapes and harbour scenes of John Cunningham, JOLOMO, and John Bellany capture Scotland's varied coastal regions. More urban scenes are represented by "tenement painter" Avril Paton, and an intriguing mixed media with a fascinating history by Norman Cornish is sure to attract attention.
Entries are currently invited for the next Scottish Contemporary Art Auction on Sunday 27th September. McTear's holds The Scottish Contemporary Art Auction every six weeks. For a complimentary, no-obligation valuation, visit our Glasgow Galleries or contact a specialist on 0141 810 2880 or auction@mctears.co.uk.
