The mighty Macallan 1928 50 Year Old Anniversary Malt and its younger sibling from 1938 might be hogging the limelight this month, but there are no shortage of great drams going under the hammer in October. Recently resurrected lowlander, Rosebank, is particularly well represented by several official releases and independent bottlings from the likes of Gordon & MacPhail and Signatory. Fans of Islay whisky won’t be disappointed either, with a great selection of Port Ellen, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, and Bowmore also on offer. Throw in a few Springbanks and a smattering of GlenDronach, and you’ve got an auction that’s not to be missed!
