decorated in polychrome enamels with lotus sprays on a coral ground, both with further flowers to interior and with six character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue to base, housed in a 1930s fitted case

Purchased by a private couple who travelled through China in the 1930s, marrying in Shanghai in 1933
