Note: A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art in 1991, Susan Mitchell is a full-time watercolour artist and etcher, based in the Scottish Borders. Calling upon her farming background for inspiration, she produces delightful watercolours and copper-plate hand-printed etchings such as this present image, in her home studio. Susan, who has shown at a number of prestigious galleries, also works in textiles and oils, producing lovely images of the flora and fauna she sees around her home town of Peebles.
