TIFFANY STUDIOS LEADED GLASS 'POINSETTIA' BORDER LAMP

the hemispherical glass shade in milky white, green, blue and dark green, with floral decoration in dark pink and light blue, on a bulbous bronze base cast with overlapping leaves, stemmed above a broad circular foot, shade marked 'Tiffany Studios New York', base marked Tiffany Studios New York 29938'
Provenance: Purchased from Sotheby's Elton John Volume III Art Nouveau and Art Deco (London) September 1988 (lot 600). A copy of the catalogue from that auction accompanies this lot.

Condition Report
Overall excellent condition. There are a number of small age/stress cracks mainly around the lower border of the glass shade. Please see many additional images that are available showing these areas across the shade. The lamp base is in excellent order with only minor surface scratches. Catalogue copy accompanies the lot, not the original invoice. The lamp was bought by the vendor's father at the auction itself. Fabric cord and UK plug.
