Note: Peter Luti's heavily textured application prior to the addition of colour is a technique that he has made his own, and his work is instantly recognisable. The technique is one that is extremely individual, and the work is instantly recognisable. People recognise a naive simplicity to the compositions, yet still are captivated by the complex textural form. The process of developing the application and technique and the drive to improve with each new piece is one of Peter’s favourite aspects of being a professional artist. As a result, his driven approach to his work has resulted in Peter having no particular favourite piece of his own, but viewing each work of art as an individual challenge. Peter Luti has exhibited in numerous mixed shows throughout Scotland in several galleries and for the past 6 years has exhibited work exclusively at Galleria Luti, Callander. His work has been purchased for private collections across the UK, throughout Europe, Dubai, Australia, the USA and is particularly popular in Canada.
