FRENCH GILT METAL AND PORCELAIN CLOCK GARNITURE
LATE 19TH CENTURY

the clock with two train right day movement striking on a bell, the blue celeste dial with Roman numeral chapter markers and retailers mark for OETZMANN & CO. HAMPSTEAD ROAD LONDON, the case sumounted with two putti contemplating a painted porcelain plaque depicting a further putto, flanked by scrolling acanthus detail and further mounted with porcelain plaques, on ebonised plinth base, with a pair of three-branch candelabra garnitures

Movement winds though will require some attention - stop start ticking and striking mechanism. Condition good to fair. Wear and dust present. Would benefit from good clean. Porcelain panel on one garniture is damaged. Finial on other absent. Chip to VIII on dial. Wear includinggilt rub. No key.
