comprising The Chamber of Secrets, first paperback edition, 27th impression, signed and inscribed to Mark...I hear you're a big Harry Potter fan, which makes me like you a lot. With best wishes, J. K. Rowling;
The Prisoner of Azkaban, first paperback edition, 1st impression, signed and inscribed to Marc yet again! J. K. Rowling;
The Goblet of Fire, first hardback edition, signed and inscribed to Marc...not bored yet?! J. K. Rowling;
also The Order of the Phoenix, first hardback edition, unsigned
Provenance:
The mother of the recipient and vendor of these books, Marc, used to work as a personal assistant for the sister of J. K. Rowling, a lawyer; through this link the sister learned that Marc was being bullied at school and also knowing that he enjoyed the Harry Potter series arranged for her sister, J. K. Rowling, to sign and inscribe a book for him to cheer him up, this also explaining how J. K. would mistake the spelling of the name in the first instance; Marc then took to visiting J. K. with his mother and for the next two years received a signed and personalised book in person from J. K. Rowling, hence the familiarity in the inscription and the corrected spelling of the name; Marc, as we all do, grew up and took up go-karting around the country so by the publication of The Order of the Phoenix had ceased visiting J. K.
