MID 19TH CENTURY

unmarked, the woodhandle carved with four deep bands of Celtic interlaced knot work, with simple pommel cap with applied yellow cabochon, the double fuller steel blade with spear point; contained in a leather covered wooden scabbard set with bi knife and fork, each with four bands of carved interlaced work and cabochon mounted pommel caps, the scabbard set with simple mounts with engraved rose head with motto UNE SEULE below, contained in a fitted leather box

overall length 45.5cm, blade 31cm
