the central round brilliant cut diamond within alternating calibre cut ruby and round brilliant cut diamond halos, the diamonds totalling approximately 1.00 carat overall, the rubies totalling approximately 2.75 carats, unmarked, size M, 7.4g

It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description).
