Note: As per the vendor, these items were formerly the property of F.A. Chairman Bert Millichap, and purchased as such at auction circa 1990s.

The 1986 Mexico World Cup lives on in sporting memory as one of the most iconic. Argentina, captained by 25-year old Diego Armando Maradona, lifted the trophy after defeating West Germany in the final. Perhaps more famous (or rather infamous) than the final, is the 'hand of god' goal scored by Maradona vs. England in the quarters. During that same game he would also score what is often regarded as one of the tournament's all time greatest goals, later voted 'goal of the century'.
