UNIDENTIFIED CAVALRY HELMET
LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY
possibly Yeomanry, the brass lobster tail skull with red horse hair plume, the helmet plate formed with central rose bordered by three imperial crowns (these not British, and not dissimilar from an Austrian crown), further mounted with embossed laurel borders, twin-rose ear bosses affixing a chain chinstrap, with remnant leather to interior peak
