Magda Ketterer
Valuations Director, Valuer & Auctioneer
Magda was born in Glasgow and went to Fernhill School in Rutherglen. She studied for a degree in History of Art at Glasgow University and went on to complete a Master`s in The History of Collecting and Collections. Magda joined McTear's more than twenty years ago and has a passion for the auction world. Her role as Valuations Director encompasses estate and insurance as well as auction valuations in all categories of art and antiques. She particularly enjoys auctioneering as well as the many opportunities to meet interesting people. Outside of work, Magda enjoys family trips and training at the gym.
