Magda Ketterer
Valuations Director
Magda was born in Glasgow and went to Fernhill School in Rutherglen. She studied for a degree in History of Art at Glasgow University and went on to complete a Master`s in The History of Collecting and Collections. While at university, Magda joined the Fencing Club, where she met her husband. Magda joined McTear's in 2004 and has a passion for the auction world. She particularly enjoys auctioneering as well as the many opportunities to meet interesting people. Her role as Valuations Director encompasses estate and insurance as well as auction valuations in all categories of art and antiques. Outside of work, Magda enjoys trips with her daughter and family, seeing friends and training at the gym.
