Makenzie attended Carthage College in Wisconsin to pursue her academic passions, where she studied and double majored in Art History and Classical Studies, graduating in May 2019. In the fall of 2019 Makenzie made the move to Scotland to attend the University of Glasgow, and obtained her MSc in Art History Collection and Provenance Studies in an International Context.
Outside of the auction house, Makenzie has interests in film photography and the darkroom, ancient history and languages, cross-stitch, animals, and travel. Makenzie is absolutely thrilled to be living in Glasgow and working at McTear’s.
