The mighty pen

In this month’s Coins & Banknotes Auction on 24 September, there are a few exciting additions, namely a group of luxury pens.

The sale features offerings from Mont Blanc and Cartier as well as their sub brand Les Must de Cartier. Lot 696 (£40-70) is a Les Must de Cartier gold coloured pen. With its textured finish and slick ovoid cylindrical shape it is both glamourous and comfortable to use. A nod to the past is lot 693, a Cartier handbag pen (£50-80.)

For the gentleman, lots 691 and 694 are two very stylish Mont Blanc examples. Both estimated at £60-90, who says you can’t have a little luxury everyday?
