Come back to the future with McTear’s

With the toy market booming, collectors are always on the lookout for the next must-have piece to add to their collection.

Our 'Back To The Future: Toys, Model, Games & Pop Culture' auction, to be held at McTear's on 1 February 2023, is therefore a date to mark off on the calendar.

One such lot is an impressive live steam built locomotive in 3 1/2" gauge. The locomotive bears the name 'City of Truro' to both sides and comes in green and black Great Western Railway livery. This impressive piece is 66cm long including the buffers. This model is fully scratch built, which is a true testament to the time spent on building this model and this is reflected in the estimate of £1,000 - £1,500.
