Our latest Silver & Luxury Accessories auction at McTear's Auctioneers once again has a wide variety of items on offer.
Amongst the pieces on offer, is a splendid array of luxury accessories, featuring a single owner collection of items in Lots 211 - 218, which includes a range of Hermes scarves, featuring lot 214 - depicting the Hermes Carriage motif. Other items from the collection include an unused 'Burberry Quilted leather Lola Ziparound Wallet' along with a 'Celine Printed Leather Wallet' in lot 216. These fresh to the market items come to auction on the 30th of August.
Within the same auction is an impressive array of silver items. One such piece is lot 116 - a very impressive Celtic Revival Hammered Silver Pedestal Bowl. This impressive piece features an upper band of Celtic Knotwork, dragons, bosses and similarly decorated twin hoop handles, on a short column to domed foot. An oak plinth completes this piece with brass plaque inscribed with dedication to 'MRS ROBERTSON, OF CARNBOOTH BY ONEWHO KNOWS WHAT DEVOTED AND UNWEARYING EFFORTS SHE HAS MADE ON BEHALF OF OUR WOUNDED HEROES DURING THE GREAT WAR JANUARY, 1917', further mounted with central ivorine plaque.
